Birthday Bubbles!

Okay, I'm going to be conceited for a few seconds, so grizzly bear with me.
Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday dear Emily (you didn't know my name?)
Happy Birthday to me!
....in one hour.
Okay, that's done. I may be another year older, but I don't concentrate on the age thing too much, I just love Birthdays. Everyone who has found out how old I am turning this past week have all told me I don't look that old. And one "Yeah, I'd ID you." But I'm not going to tell you how old I am. I'll let you keep wondering. Maybe I'm 15, maybe I'm 20, maybe I'm 25, maybe I'm 30 (Please don't think I'm 40). Anyway, I'm posting this nail design as early as I can so you can see this design sooner, and I'm planning on not being online much tomorrow.
I love retro 60s designs, and my Mum suggested a champagne bubble design (she may not be able to draw, but she is super creative and I loved her idea), and I've been meaning on trying out a "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" design (Hey, it's a good show! It was written so adults wouldn't be ashamed to watch this "Friendship Is Magic" series with their kids) and this is what I came up with. I think it looks rather retro, it looks like champagne bubbles, and I took the character 'Derpy/Ditsy Doo's cutie-mark and tweaked it a little. Also, my thumb nail tip is almost completely torn off so I placed nail glue on the rip (works like a charm), and I have a tiny tear on the tip of my index nail which I also glued.
Let's see if I remember how I created this. I sort of made it up as I went along. First, I destroyed an eraser. Actually 3, but the other two were for test purposes. I cut around the eraser at the end of a pencil to make the tip a lot smaller, but still flat at the end.
It looks a bit rough, but I only cared about the tip. Once I was done hacking away at that, I painted my nails with two coats of Sally Hansen's "Nearly Nude 2" (It won't be completely opaque with only 2 coats) and let that dry. Then I took L'Oreal Paris "Trust Fund Baby" and painted the end of the eraser with it. I dabbed it once on a piece of scrap paper to get rid of the excess polish, then like a stamp, pressed it onto my nail a few times. I then placed a dot of MigiNailArt "Peach" in the centre of each bubble and let that dry, but not completely. Just until the polish became tacky. I then took a toothpick and pressed it into the bubble to make an indent, and filled it with MigiNailArt "Silver". Again, letting that become tacky, I took the toothpick and pressed it into the bubble again, but this time off-centre. I then took MigiNailArt "Glitter Gold" and placed different sized dots around the bubbles. I let it dry completely and covered it with a top coat.
I hope you like this design! I do, and coming soon I'll have a Thanksgiving design or two for you, as well as MANY Hallowe'en ones! Thanks for reading!
